White Rabbit Dark Ale

The Blackish Sheep / Witchery: OTK Boots, Charlie Brown: Faux Leopard Coat / Frank Ocean: Thinking About You / Max & Dave Fleischer: Superman & Betty Boop

“Layers of dark caramel and chocolate are interspersed with floral hops and an earthy finish, all wrapped up with an approachable drinkability that makes this dark bro really fun to be around.”

It’s often difficult to articulate how you feel about your siblings. The relationship you have with them is ever evolving yet always founded on a deep and unconditional love. One minute you are fighting over the remote control, flinging it at each others head, quietly hoping that a small amount of damage is inflicted, but not enough to incite the parents intruding in the argument; the next minute you are allies, bonding together to go into battle to defend all honour and the family name. You are intrinsically tied to one another and it’s your brothers and sisters who really know you inside and out… witnesses to the good, the bad and the ugly!

Of course, there is nothing bad or ugly about the White Rabbit Dark Ale, even though Dark Ale to some can conjur up images of heavy or strong brews (need to bust this myth). This beer is the spawn of Little Creatures and sibling to beers such as the Pale Ale, Rogers, Bright etc etc. The Dark Ale even has its own little sister, the White Ale. Cute, isn’t it. A little rebellious, the White Rabbit Dark Ale ferments in open fermenters giving this “living on the edge” brew some opportunity to be a little less constrained, a little more avant garde. It’s great to have a cool big brother who is the black(ish) sheep of the family. He’s pretty easy to get along with but at the same time fun to work out. Layers of dark caramel and chocolate are interspersed with floral hops and an earthy finish, all wrapped up with an approachable drinkability that makes this dark bro really fun to be around.

It’s what you wear when your big brother isn’t around to worry about you; the delight of a faux Charlie Brown leopard fur coat and the fun of Witchery OTK boots, statement pieces. It’s Frank Ocean (one of three children), thinking ’bout you. It’s siblings, Max & Dave Fleischer who brought to life through animation, the wonderful characters of Betty Boop and Superman… so much talent in one family!
